Current contribution

This project valorises evaporation condensates from dissolving pulp production by recovering acetic acid and furfural—high-demand chemicals within the EU. It reduces effluent organic loads, cuts treatment costs, and supplies local industries with renewable chemicals. As Europe is a major importer of these products, this innovation strengthens supply chain autonomy.
